Steven D. Stern Mr. Stern has a substantive background in journalism as a correspondent in both New York and Washington, covering the securities industry and elements of the Federal Government, including the Securities and Exchange Commission, White House, Congress and the Federal Reserve for Dow Jones and Company, Inc. (publisher of The Wall Street Journal and the Dow Jones News Service), Reuters Economic Service, The Daily Bond Buyer and American Banker, U.S. Oil Week, Securities Week and The Washington Star. Additionally, he was Director of Public Relations for
Gulf+Western Industries, Inc., reporting to the Chairman, Charles Bluhdorn;
Director of Public Relations for Occidental Petroleum, reporting to the
Chairman, Dr. Armand Hammer; and Director of Corporate Communications for Wickes
Companies, Inc. Mr. Stern has also served as a speech writer for three U.S.
Senators and the Chairman of the Federal Home Loan Bank Board; written two
computer books published by Prentice-Hall; and served as a consultant to the U.
S. Chamber of Commerce and IBM. Previously, he held senior management positions at two Los Angeles-based magazine publishing companies, where he had direct responsibility for the editorial content and commercial success of more than a dozen business, special interest and leisure magazines. Before moving to magazine management, Mr. Auerbach was one of California’s leading business and financial journalists. As a senior member of the Los Angeles Times financial news staff for more than a decade, he covered business and financial news and was syndicated by the Los Angeles Times-Washington Post wire service to more than 400 newspapers. He was a correspondent to The Economist of London, and wrote regularly about the American economy for the United States Information Agency's overseas education program. Mr. Auerbach was the recipient of the John Hancock Award for
Excellence in Financial Writing, and the Los Angeles Times Editorial Award. He
holds a Masters in Business Administration from UCLA’s Anderson School. Mr. Kim's career encompasses 15 years of developing new
businesses, educating investors and decision makers, and advising C-level
executives and Board members on growth through capital transactions and
acquisitions. He holds a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
